Halda Watch Co was chosen to design a limited series of only 20 watches exclusively for Nürburgring racetrack. The watch is based on the Race Pilot model which won the prestigious award Watch of the Year 2014. It is delivered with uniquely numbered modules, engraved with the Nürburgring logo and a specially-made strap in natural rubber.

Based on the unique Halda Concept, the Race Pilot Nürburgring Limited Edition is developed in close cooperation with professional race drivers and engineers. Its digital module features information about 150 race tracks, G-force measurement, Countdown according to FIA F1 regulations, and an advanced chronograph measuring speed. The mechanical module is equipped with our Gun Metal dial and an automatic movement produced by ZENITH.

Gran Turismo, who has been organizing supercar track driving for the past 15 years put together a challenge for their members – a gentleman’s time attack series during four selected racing events during the season. The competition was set throughout all of Europe in two different classes – street legal cars and racing cars. As official King of Gran Turismo timekeeper, Halda sponsored the first prize of the racing class. The winner received a special, one-of-a-kind, King of Gran Turismo Halda Race Pilot with the new Trackmaster GPS lap timer.

He requested an improved system that would help him fine tune the boat during practice and racing. This system utilizes an advanced software, linked to his team on the shore that analyzes the information and communicates any necessary changes to the driver. Due to the custom software of the Trackmaster GPS unit and the Halda watch, Erik can now analyze the information and directly make the necessary changes himself, saving valuable time in a discipline where fractions of a second count for everything.
